Since March 2020, COVID-19 forced us to impose restrictions on the use of our dining room. Only clients who stayed overnight in the shelter had access to indoor dining.
During the last three years, we have been providing up to 850 takeout meals daily. With the help of our donors, volunteers and coworkers, we were consistently present for those who needed our support for their daily necessities.
Now that almost all COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, and after three years of hiatus, at 2 pm on August 9, 2023, we are reopening for indoor meal to the public.
We are ready to welcome our guests into our dining room, sit, relax and enjoy healthy and nutritious meals in a caring environment.
We will continue to offer hospitality and live the mission of Good Shepherd – St John of God. As we re-open our dining room, we will renew our commitment to our values of Hospitality, Quality, Respect, Responsibility and Spirituality.
Thank you all for making this happen again.
