Good Shepherd Ministries values volunteers. Without their support and dedication, we could not provide high quality services to those in need within our community.
Volunteering and Good Shepherd is a way you can give back. It is also a perfect opportunity for students to complete their mandatory 40 hours of community services, great team-building exercise for corporate groups, or time to spend with family and friends.
Good Shepherd relies on volunteers to help deliver services to homeless and vulnerable individuals 365 days of the year.

#BAKE4GOOD: BAKE FOR THE HOMELESS IN YOUR HOME
Do you like to bake? Do you want to help people who are homeless? Are you a student who needs community involvement hours?
Why not #Bake4Good? Have fun! Help your community!
To participate in #Bake4Good, you make your favourite sweet treats to share with others. Cookies, squares, banana bread, cakes, or something original that you’ve created all yourself! How much should you make? You can bake any amount — a dozen cookies or even 100 dozen!
What do you do once you’ve baked your goodies? You package them in a clean container or big zip-lock bag — something you don’t need to get back. Then you deliver them to Good Shepherd at 412 Queen St. East. You can deliver your baked goods any day of the week — Good Shepherd never closes!
Are you a student looking for volunteer hours? Send an e-mail to volunteer@goodshepherd.ca to register. Tell us your name & your school, and we’ll send you a handy form to fill out and drop off with each donation you make so we can track your hours. Make sure you also track your hours.
You can #Bake4Good whenever you have the time! This year-round volunteer opportunity will be available as long as there are hungry people coming to Good Shepherd for food.
